Our Favourite Projects
Twin Luxe Retreats - River Road
Both of these River Road sites came to us with houses already on them — just not the right ones. So before a single new wall went up, we pulled the existing units down. The only thing we kept was the concrete pad each one sat on, and we rebuilt from there.
We project managed the entire job, from designing the layout and dealing with council for consent, to organising roofers, plumbers, electricians, painters, and more.
Each one is now a boutique one-bedroom retreat with its own outdoor tub and city views, fitted out for short-stay guests who want to feel like they’ve escaped somewhere special without leaving town.

Family Lifestyle Property
Some projects you build to a brief. This one, we built for us.
Tucked at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Rotokauri, this is a full design-and-build we’re especially proud of — not just because of the scale, but because it’s our own family home. When it’s your own place on the line, you don’t cut a single corner, and it shows: three-metre stud ceilings and full-height glass through the open-plan living, a designer kitchen with a scullery to match, and a second lounge with American barn-style doors that’s become the heart of the house. Out back, reclaimed Christchurch earthquake bricks sit alongside cedar and Stria cladding — materials with a bit of history to them, built to last a few generations more.
Behind the main house sits a fully self-contained two-bedroom granny flat, with its own open-plan living opening onto a private balcony — built flexible enough for extended family to move in, guests to stay a while, or to earn its keep as a rental.
